About Tony Flood Mechanical

Tony Flood Mechanical Tony Flood Mechanical was established by Tony Flood in 1991 with the aim of providing mechanical and motorsport services to the Western Australian motoring and rally community. Tony began his love affair with motorsport in the early 80's rallying Datsunís through the forests of WA. He won several autocross championships before competing and finishing first in class in Rally Australia driving a Toyota Sprinter in 1989.

In 1991 Tony purchased the first Australian GT4 Celica from Toyota and began competing in Group A. Tony competed in four more Rally Australiaís during 1992, 1996, 1997 and 1998 before changing focus from competing to designing, building and supporting rally teams. Today he still competes in tarmac events, plus recently in the Australasian Safari in his fully prepared Pajero.

Tony Flood Mechanical Tony's expertise and services have been sought at the highest level of Australian Motorsport, including working for Subaru Australia in the Australian Rally Championship. Tony has also prepared cars for a variety of motorsport disciplines including Targa tarmac events, Safari and Rally-Raid, Off-road Buggies and Formula Holden.
